Destri lately is pretty into playing the "slug bug" game and is getting pretty good I might say. So a lady at my work owns one and let us drive around in it the other day. Destri was so excited and called EVERYONE to tell them what she was doing I think it's safe to say she had a blast!!

So yesterday we had a little accident... My sweet little Destri was playing on the glider while I was in the bathroom getting ready for work. Next thing that I know I hear a loud smack and Korbin screaming! Destri had hit him in the head right above his eye with the glider! I seriously watched his eye swell up to the size of a ping pong ball! Poor little guy. Then he starts rubbing his eyes and acting tired (he just got up from a nap 30min before this) so i get all paranoid and had to take him to the Dr just to make sure he didn't have ant serious damage or a concussion! All is well now thank goodness!....attached is a pic sorry i couldn't find my camera so i took it with my phone sorry about the poor quality!

My lil family went to St George this weekend to spend time with my grandpa and Korbin got to go swimming for his first time and Destri the first time this year!

For those of you that know me or Bones know that we eat, sleep, and breathe Haystak! So this past Saturday he actually came to Provo to perform! Of course we were there! Now we go to concerts ALL the time, but none of them compare to this one and it was even at Atchafalaya's! Who cares though cause we were there and we had a blast!! I only have a few pics right now cuz I can't find my cord for my camera GRRRRR, so I stole these from my friend and the one with me and Casey is actually on Haystak's page! So since it has been like a month since my last post I just thought I should let everyone know we are alive! Things have been a little bit crazy with Korbin getting RSV and then getting better just to get it all over again UGH!!. Then with my grandpa being really sick and being in St George, but I think we are on the downfall though .. I hope? I should be getting some pics up as soon as it gets a littel warmer outside I'm sure we'll be more active

So lately Destri has taken an interest in Korbin and treating him like her baby....including carrying him around! These are a few of the lil adventures they go on! She tells me that she has to take her baby to the store with her cuz she's the mom .......ahh priceless!

So this weekend was Destri & my birthdays her's the 6th and mine the 7th! Destri got 2 parties and 2 cakes (Dora and a Tinkerbell). The first party at our house was just family with cake and ice cream.

It was a pretty calm party just family hanging out and her opening presents!

Chuck e Cheese was a lil bit wilder I couldn't get the kids to hold still long enough for a group picture so they are scattered..

Rayden, he was there about 15min before he had 100 tickets he had won! LOL

That is the closest Destri would get to him but if you look closely Jordyn was fearless & hugging him & has been the whole time,

Destri had a blast and tells me everyday that it's her birthday again! (Just like her mom!) My birthday was good not as eventful but after her 2 parties and my house lookin more full of presents then it did on christmas I was pretty happy to just go to dinner and relax at home with a few friends... Huge thanks to my mom for takin the kids overnight so I could sleep in!!!

So This video is from last week, Korbin learned how to gimp it on one knee around! That lasted a week and now he can CRAWL on both knees (sorry i don't have a video yet). Since he can move he has discovered the stairs and the dog food I have yet to catch him in the dog food but I have to pull him off the stairs constantly!

I know this is late but my family went to the Draper Temple last week! Destri had a blast and was so good through the whole thing! As most of you kow Korbin has had RSV so unfortunately he couldn't go. And surprise Bones was working so it was just Destri and I.

Ok so this is the best picture I got of the temple it was hard cause I had to do it out of the bus window (Kendra can vouch for me). This is the best out of like 10

Destri's favorite part was riding the bus to and from. On the way home she insisted on sitting by herself, next to Easton of course!

So we got to the concert and our sits were way to far away from the stage so we had to sneak down to general admission he he (it took only about 5min tops)

This is about 10 min into Vanilla Ice, shortly after where Risha almost got kicked out cuz she "pushed" someone! LOL

You can't tell but the dude getting a drink is wearing parachute pants!!

Oh yes that is a guy wearing those pink shorts...... WTF?

This video at the end the dance move was close to the coolest thing he did!
So all in all Vanilla Ice was good but MC Hammer really blew he talked after every song and then would take about a 5 min break before performing again! Lame we left early it got old standing around waiting for him to sing!

Who would of thought that such an angel like my lil girl could throw such big fits?? It started yesterday at my parents when she wouldn't share so to time out it was then she preceeded to scream and say she had to go to the bathroom..... so to the bathroom we go, where she refuses to go. So at my wits end i decide we're just going home so from Lakeshore to springville (longest 10min of my life) she screams the WHOLE way and then some more in the house so i put her up to her room and close the door where she sits in her banana chair with her blanket and pillow still screaming (this is about 1 hour total of her screaming now). Not 5 min later it goes silent so Bones sneeks in her room and this is what he found. Her passed out in her chair snoring! Guess she just needed a lil nap!

So Bones went back to swing shift which leaves me and the kids home at night to entertain our selfs so we turned Korbin into a Rock Star..( most the time he has a mohawk but he just woke up so..) His songs consist of just mostly screamin (we're still workin out the lyrics)!

Destri on the other hand likes to spend most of her time "workin out" in her fashionable purple socks (which are mine). She has actually turned this glider into a indoor swing and can actually get going pretty high!

So for Ta's 30th birthday we got all decked out in Mardi gras gear and decided to go to the bar! We started at The DeerHunter we get there and there's a band cool right? Wrong they were wearin kilts and playin bag pipes we can't shake our booty's to that! So we head out, after all the night was still young and we hit Archafalaya's where there was all the booty shakin you can dream of :) Tasha was a hit with a neck full of beads and even sang karaoke (well she danced everyone else sang) oh don't worry we got video I'll upload later!

My booty shakin was a big hit with this hunk of a man that I ended up going home with! Mmmm gotta love my man!

So my baby boy is growing up! He got his first tooth (well it officially broke through) on January 1st, 2009. YAY right? uh not so much I have spent the last 4 days and nights battling fevers and crankyness and most of all sleep (he'll only sleep about 20-30 min at a time). I honestly don't remember Destri's being this bad. I've tried everything so if anyone has any miracle ways to get him to sleep longer PLEASE let me know!!

Ok Ok I know I'm a total slacker at this stuff but in fairness I was waiting to upload pics to post as well but looks like that can't happen for awhile until I figure out whats wrong with my camera.... Anyways Christmas at our house was Awesome Destri made cookies for santa and was more excited that he ate them all then about the bike he left for her that she talked about for MONTHS. Korbin was a hoot for only being 6 months old he sure knows how to open presents however we did spend most of the time trying to pry the wrapping paper out of his hands and mouth! .............. New Years was good this year we spent New Years Eve at our friends Austin and Katies along with other good friends. Destri spent hers in Fairview with cousins sledding and playing Wii. New Years day Bones and I went to Wendover with friends for Casey's 31st birthday, on the fun bus, at 8 in the mornin which wasn't such a good idea after being up til 3am but we made it and it was fun even though I lost 98% of my money. HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

So it started out as a good week, but as night approached on monday it hit I got sick! Being sick doesn't mean you get a break from being mom though, so I stayed home with kids on Tuesday went to work on Wednesday feeling much better. Only to get a call from my sitter on Thursday saying Destri was sick. I spent the rest of the day not at work but at the Dr only to find out she had a stomache flu.... JOY!!! She was miserable screaming and let me tell you this girl knows how to milk it.... she even went as far as to tell us that she couldn't walk!! Smart lil girl knowing we'd have sympathy through her sickness. Anyways I finally get her better and here comes Friday and Korbin is stuffed up and fussy I take this time to kill all germs that i think I can find in the house only to wake up Saturday feeling just as bad as I did on Monday UGH!!! Not to mention Korbin is sicker too and on his way to the Dr (thanks to my mom since I had to work)... Yet through all this mess my hubby seems to have no signs of anything???? (yet) So until I'm done fumigating aka lysol spraying my whole house this weekend it might be wise not to visit :)

Girls night started with dinner. Yes they just had to have those awesome drink cups!

Here they are after i told (well threaten) them that they had to hold hands at ALL times. In fact this led to them almost taken out a few people as we were walking lol! At least they listen!

Our seats were awesome thank you Kendra!!

Here my lil demon angel ate that whole bag of candy to her self yes the WHOLE bag no joke! I thought she would throw up but she actually was just fine a lil hyper but just fine!

We snuck the girls down to the VIP section next to ice to get a picture (Destri is wonderin where all the skaters went). The bouncer (grey haired lady) good at her job, made sure that we only did just that!

All in all the girls had a blast at there first girls night! Which ended with a sleep over at my house, the girls were wired on candy and went to bed late (despite there yawns on the way home)!
