Santa's Sleigh Ride

We got to all go on a Sleigh ride and see Santa last night!  It was a little chilly not to bad with beanies n blankets but we all survived and the kids got to see and tell Santa what they wanted!!  It was a much needed family night.

Where does the time go?

Xadin has recently learned how to hold a bottle not completely by himself (given he only gets practice when mom isn't home) by for the most part can for half the feeding!  Where has the time gone I swear I just had him :(  he also has started eating rice cereal in the mornings and he loves it.  He has been such a joy to have in our life I just wish he would slow down on the growing up.

Spoiled? I think so

We celebrated our 4yr anniversary on Sept 12th. My hubby spoiled me by taking us to Park City and booking a room at the Bear Lodge. It was amazing our "room" was more like a condo.

So being as we are both football fans and opening week is always on our anniversary we always go somewhere where we can watch football.  This year we went to the local sports bar in Park City, Doolan's.  Great place and excellent food if you ever get up there!  Unfortunately our teams were playing each other, it was a long week with anticipation.  Of course my team LOST!  He was a good sport and didn't rub it in until after our weekend.  It also happened to be Park Silly so all of main street was blocked off with booths and vendors. It turned out to be a great weekend and who better to spend it with then my luv!  Here's to many more!

Pre-school

First day of pre-school was a huge success he was so excited and just a little nervous.  We dropped him off and he walked right in no tears (for him or me).

After I picked him up he was so happy this face says it all.  He LOVES school and can't wait for next week, however we all know how exhausting it is........

5 min after the smile picture he was passed out from that long 2 1/2hr day!!

I'm Back

Wow it has been way to long since I updated this!  I am inspired to try again and keep up with it (we will see how it goes).  As most of you know I had a baby in May his name is Xadin Cole Gurule, he is the sweetest baby and is such a joy in our life we are so happy that we made the decision to expand our family.  Unfortunately as much as I would love to stay home and be with the kids I had to return to work and am still working both jobs yuck!!  Bones and I will be celebrating 4yrs this next wednesday and are still going strong he's my best friend and I love spending everyday with him.  Destri started 1st grade this year and thats not the worst of it, she started riding the bus (against my protests).  It was harder to see her get on the bus then it was to accept that she was in 1st grade.  She definately has alot of me in her all ready becoming so independent and not wanting us to help her with things or bring her to school let alone be seen saying bye to us.  Korbin starts pre-school TODAY and I will try my hardest not to cry :( he was my baby for so long that I still think of him as such.  He is so excited and has been counting down the days and had his outfit picked out for a week now.  We will see how it goes after we pick him up (I'll write later about that).  He is so full of energy and is always running, kicking, punching, "transforming", kung fuing you name it that boy doesn't stop.  He certainly drains us both hopefully he will contain that for school lol.  I'll end there and hopefully keep to my word and keep up on it this time around.

Destri lately is pretty into playing the "slug bug" game and is getting pretty good I might say. So a lady at my work owns one and let us drive around in it the other day. Destri was so excited and called EVERYONE to tell them what she was doing I think it's safe to say she had a blast!!

So yesterday we had a little accident... My sweet little Destri was playing on the glider while I was in the bathroom getting ready for work. Next thing that I know I hear a loud smack and Korbin screaming! Destri had hit him in the head right above his eye with the glider! I seriously watched his eye swell up to the size of a ping pong ball! Poor little guy. Then he starts rubbing his eyes and acting tired (he just got up from a nap 30min before this) so i get all paranoid and had to take him to the Dr just to make sure he didn't have ant serious damage or a concussion! All is well now thank goodness!....attached is a pic sorry i couldn't find my camera so i took it with my phone sorry about the poor quality!

My lil family went to St George this weekend to spend time with my grandpa and Korbin got to go swimming for his first time and Destri the first time this year!

For those of you that know me or Bones know that we eat, sleep, and breathe Haystak! So this past Saturday he actually came to Provo to perform! Of course we were there! Now we go to concerts ALL the time, but none of them compare to this one and it was even at Atchafalaya's! Who cares though cause we were there and we had a blast!! I only have a few pics right now cuz I can't find my cord for my camera GRRRRR, so I stole these from my friend and the one with me and Casey is actually on Haystak's page! So since it has been like a month since my last post I just thought I should let everyone know we are alive! Things have been a little bit crazy with Korbin getting RSV and then getting better just to get it all over again UGH!!. Then with my grandpa being really sick and being in St George, but I think we are on the downfall though .. I hope? I should be getting some pics up as soon as it gets a littel warmer outside I'm sure we'll be more active

So lately Destri has taken an interest in Korbin and treating him like her baby....including carrying him around! These are a few of the lil adventures they go on! She tells me that she has to take her baby to the store with her cuz she's the mom .......ahh priceless!

~OuR bIrThDaYs~

So this weekend was Destri & my birthdays her's the 6th and mine the 7th! Destri got 2 parties and 2 cakes (Dora and a Tinkerbell). The first party at our house was just family with cake and ice cream.

It was a pretty calm party just family hanging out and her opening presents!

Chuck e Cheese was a lil bit wilder I couldn't get the kids to hold still long enough for a group picture so they are scattered..

Rayden, he was there about 15min before he had 100 tickets he had won! LOL

Destri had a blast and tells me everyday that it's her birthday again! (Just like her mom!) My birthday was good not as eventful but after her 2 parties and my house lookin more full of presents then it did on christmas I was pretty happy to just go to dinner and relax at home with a few friends... Huge thanks to my mom for takin the kids overnight so I could sleep in!!!

So This video is from last week, Korbin learned how to gimp it on one knee around! That lasted a week and now he can CRAWL on both knees (sorry i don't have a video yet). Since he can move he has discovered the stairs and the dog food I have yet to catch him in the dog food but I have to pull him off the stairs constantly!

I know this is late but my family went to the Draper Temple last week! Destri had a blast and was so good through the whole thing! As most of you kow Korbin has had RSV so unfortunately he couldn't go. And surprise Bones was working so it was just Destri and I.

Ok so this is the best picture I got of the temple it was hard cause I had to do it out of the bus window (Kendra can vouch for me). This is the best out of like 10

Destri's favorite part was riding the bus to and from. On the way home she insisted on sitting by herself, next to Easton of course!
